The room prices include all the pampering culinary delights and our extensive Steirerhof extra-value services.

In principle, a minimum stay of 2 nights has applied at the Steirerhof for many years. Of course, we also try to make it possible for our guests to stay just one night. This is always the case, but depends on the respective booking situation and the availability of the rooms and can therefore only be confirmed at short notice (approx. 2 days before arrival).

On the day of arrival, an early spa check-in including breakfast is possible for € 50 per person .

We promise you that you will not find a cheaper price anywhere online than on the Steirerhof homepage or in our brochures. So you can be sure that every guest pays the same for the hotel services.

Cancellation free of charge up to 14 days before arrival, thereafter the general terms and conditions for the hotel industry (AGBH) apply in the current version (except from 22.12.-2.1. - here a free cancellation applies up to 3 weeks before arrival)

In the event of medical emergencies, we are very accommodating when it comes to canceling or postponing your stay!

The rooms are guaranteed to be ready for occupancy from 3:00 p.m.. Early spa check-in is possible from 10.30 a.m., i.e. you can use the spa facilities from this time onwards at no extra charge (exception: stays of only 1 night). Changing rooms and lockable lockers are available for this purpose and your luggage will be deposited for you. We are also happy to invite you to a light lunch.

There is a large, free outdoor parking lot right next to the hotel, also with charging stations for electric cars. However, we kindly ask you to vacate this parking lot once you have finished charging.

We charge € 8 per day for parking in the underground garage. As electric cars are not allowed to enter the underground garage, there is a separate, covered e-carport for these vehicles. Here you can charge and park for the entire stay at a price of € 12 per day.

Yes, you are welcome to charge your car during your stay with us.

There is an outdoor parking lot with free charging stations for electric cars right next to the hotel. After charging, however, we ask you to vacate this space for other electric cars.

As electric cars are not allowed to drive into the underground garage, there is a separate, covered e-carport. Here you can park and charge for your entire stay. Price € 12 per day.

To be on the safe side, we ask you to bring your own plug or cable for charging if we do not have a suitable connection available.

We are happy to pick you up free of charge from Bad Waltersdorf train station. Please let us know your arrival time 1-2 days before arrival.

If you arrive at Graz Thalerhof or Vienna Schwechat Airport, we will be happy to organize a taxi transfer to the hotel for you. Please let us know your flight number and exact arrival time 5-7 days before arrival.

We will be happy to organize a taxi pick-up from your home. Please let us know the pick-up time about 3-5 days before arrival. Prices depend on your place of residence.

The rooms are guaranteed to be ready for occupancy from 3 pm. We are happy to invite you to our light lunch beforehand.

If you would like to start your vacation with breakfast at the Steirerhof, this is possible at a price of € 35 per person.

We would ask you to vacate your room by 11 a.m.. We would like to invite you to spend the afternoon in our pool area. Changing rooms and lockable lockers are available for this purpose. We can store your luggage in the meantime.
We are also happy to invite you to enjoy a light lunch and afternoon cake.

Depending on availability, a late check-out is possible free of charge if the room is not required for arriving guests. In this case, you will be informed in writing by our reception the evening before your departure.

All our rooms have a double bed with separate mattresses. Separate beds are unfortunately not possible.

At the Steirerhof you can choose between rooms with shower or with bathtub. Please indicate your preference when making your reservation.
Both are available in the double rooms de luxe and suites.

South-facing rooms have a view of our pool area and the garden.

West-facing rooms have a view of the Styrian hills with evening sun. For these rooms we charge an additional € 7 p.p.|night.

The Steirerhof also has rooms facing north and east, which have a view of the edge of the forest, the parking lot and the hotel driveway.

Yes, all rooms on the 4th floor as well as most double rooms de luxe and suites have a wooden floor. We can also provide you with bed linen for allergy sufferers.

We have set up special health rooms for house dust allergy sufferers, which are equipped with wooden floors and special materials. These have a wonderful view of the Styrian hills, as they are located on the 6th floor.

The Wi-Fi can be switched on and off individually. This is done using a switch next to the TV set. The TV does not need to be switched on for this!

All rooms in the Steirerhof are non-smoking rooms!
Smoking on the balcony with the balcony door closed is only possible if there are no complaints from neighboring guests. Otherwise smoking must be stopped immediately.

If guests are dependent on walking aids of any kind or wheelchairs, please let us know at the time of booking, as accommodation is only possible in certain rooms for safety reasons.
Due to our hillside location, most rooms do not have a barrier-free escape route, but escape stairs.

The main focus of our hotel is on recreation, wellness and relaxation, and relaxation. The Steirerhof has always been run as an "adults only" hotel and therefore has no children's facilities. We are happy to accept reservations for children aged 12 and over.

Vacations with a dog are always possible at the Steirerhof. Accommodation is in specially designed, ground-floor rooms with a small front garden. Due to the limited number of rooms, please book in advance. Dogs are not allowed in rooms on other floors.
Only 1 dog per room!

As the rooms next door and above are usually well occupied, we would like to point out that your dog must be suitable for hotel use and behave quietly when left alone in the room.

We will provide your dog with a soft blanket, a free bowl and plenty of doggy bags.

You are welcome to bring your dog into the hotel lobby.

Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant area or on the hotel terrace, nor in the bathing area, outdoor pools or sunbathing decks.

This is a sodium hydrogen carbonate-chloride solution that has been stored at a depth of 1,200 meters for over 10,000 years and comes out of the spring at 62°C. It is one of the highest quality and gentlest thermal healing waters in Austria and unfolds its beneficial, healing effects at a temperature of 27 to 36°C.

The mineral-rich, particularly soft water with an optimal pH value has a deep effect on the body through its thermal, physical and chemical stimuli. In addition to its well-known regenerative effect, our healing thermal water is particularly effective as a supportive treatment for

Pregnant women should always consult their doctor before vacationing at the Steirerhof due to the composition and warmth of the thermal water!

All pools can be used all year round - even in winter!

No, there is no day spa at the Steirerhof.
The use of our wellness area is only possible as a hotel guest.

Due to the limited number of participants, it is necessary to register for some program items. The lists for these are always available at reception the evening before (from around 5 p.m.).

For some activities, such as Nordic walking or aqua aerobics, registration is not necessary.

Participation in our activity program is generally free of charge!

On excursions, however, entrance fees or refreshment stops may have to be paid directly on site.
A small contribution towards expenses is also charged for flower arranging.

Yes, we are happy to provide our guests with 20 bicycles | e-bikes free of charge so that they can get some exercise during their vacation.

Guided bike tours are also offered as part of the activity program, during which we explore the beauty of nature around Bad Walterdorf together with our guests. Information, maps, helmets, rucksacks and water bottles are available at reception.
Registration or bike reservation is possible 1 day in advance at the reception!

The Bad Waltersdorf golf course is around 1 km away.
As a Steirerhof guest, you enjoy preferential status at the Bad Waltersdorf golf course,
receive guaranteed tee times and a 25% green fee discount.

The 50-hole thermal golf course Lafnitztal in Stegersbach/Bgld is only 8 km away.
The 18-hole course in Loipersdorf is just 20 minutes away.

In order to be able to better fulfill requests regarding time or therapist, we recommend booking treatments in advance. This is possible both by telephone and by e-mail.
Depending on availability, treatments can of course also be booked directly on site.

If you cancel at short notice , we will charge 50% of the booked price for the unused working time of the therapist.
In the event of a no-show, 100% of the treatment price will be charged.
If you arrive late for your treatment, your treatment will be shortened accordingly. Due to follow-up appointments, it is usually not possible to add on the missed time

If you have booked a treatment, please come in your bathrobe and swimwear .
Exceptions are craniosacral therapy, singing bowl massage, shiatsu, sports science sessions or physiotherapy - here we recommend light training clothing.

Please inform us in advance if your health condition requires special attention - whether you are diabetic, a cancer patient or allergy sufferer, take blood-thinning medication or cortisone, have had a thrombosis or slipped disc, are pregnant or wear a pacemaker. Some treatments would then not be suitable!
Our in-house doctor will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

The Steirerhof gourmet cuisine is full board, as we serve our culinary delights thoughtfully throughout the day. We focus on a pleasant, timed presentation of our specialties.

Yes, our DINNER CANCELLING!
Instead of the evening menu, we serve you a light 4-course menu at lunchtime and just a small dish in the evening - if you wish, we can also serve it to your room (stay in your bathrobe and enjoy).

If you would like to take advantage of this form of pampering cuisine, please let us know by 11 a.m. on the day in question.

Especially in connection with special diets, food intolerances, allergies and diets - we make every effort to fulfill them. Please let us know when you make your reservation.

If you suffer from coeliac disease, diabetes, lactose or fructose intolerance, we will be happy to arrange a personal meeting with the head chef or sous-chefon arrival, before the first evening meal, so that we can cater to your wishes.

There is no specialization in vegan cuisine at the Steirerhof and we therefore do not offer vegan all-day cuisine.
However, individual courses are cooked vegan as part of the evening meal.

In principle, the allocation of tables is the responsibility of our restaurant manager - depending on availability and the number of people. Special table requests or table numbers will be noted, but cannot be confirmed.

Yes, this is the case for dinner.
For breakfast and light lunch there is a free choice of seating, so you can also get to know other aspects of our restaurant.

We ask for your understanding that table reservations are not possible on the terrace - not even for dinner.

On our beautiful panoramic terrace you can enjoy our culinary delights combined with an extraordinary view of the idylliclandscape. The beautiful sunsets, which bathe the region in a dreamlike play of colors, are particularly worth seeing from here.

There are larger tables in our restaurant where solo travelers can meet for dinner and occasionally for breakfast. The communication tables are very popular, as each guest comes at different times - to suit their personal daily rhythm - so you are not tied down and can always find someone to talk to during the meal.

Our guests increasingly mention the special, atmospheric ambience at the Steirerhof and also how important it is for guests and staff to dress appropriately.

We therefore ask you to dress appropriately in our restaurant and on the terrace and to refrain from wearing sportswear, shorts, sleeveless tops and slippers, as well as from talking on the phone, in order to complete the special atmosphere of the hotel.

If you would like to stay in your bathrobe for light lunch, you are welcome to do so at the pool bar.

Smoking is not permitted in the restaurant!

However, we have created separate smoking areas:
* the rear part of the lobby
* the winter garden of the pool bistro
* a section of the bar terrace

Please also note that smoking is not permitted on the restaurant terrace during meal times and that the entire outdoor area around the pools is also designated as a non-smoking zone.

Our pampering cuisine is reserved exclusively for hotel guests.

However, if you are visiting a hotel guest, this is possible subject to availability and after consultation with the restaurant manager.
