The Styrian Apple Road

In 1986, around 40 farmers joined forces and founded the association "Steirische Apfelstraße" (Styrian Apple Road). The idea was to strengthen the economic power of the region and bring the wonderful landscape of local fruit production to all people. This is how the approximately 25 kilometer long "Apple Road" was created.

The apple village Puch is the starting point for a veritable "journey into paradise", which meanwhile also leads over the orchards of the communities Anger, Floing, Albersdorf-Prebuch and St. Ruprecht. The orchard of Austria promises real fascination. In the spring you can experience the blossom, in summer you can enjoy the lovely hilly landscape and in autumn the rich palette of fruits is harvested.

To experience the apple street with all its beauties and to enjoy the numerous delicacies around the apple: the companies arrive along the way.
The highlights in every year are the events around the apple: In spring, the flower festival with "Schmankerlkirtag" takes place in the center of Puch. The adventure trip in autumn turns into a delightful journey of discovery with a varied program.
